The Alexandra Palace Summer Festival is back, bigger and better than ever.

London’s biggest waterslide, silent disco, outdoor cinema, free music stages, immersive theatre and more!

On Saturday 22nd July Alexandra Palace Summer Festival, one of London’s biggest free entry festivals is back for its third year.  They’ll be bringing back the infamous 100m Giant Waterslide (London’s biggest) so thrill seekers can zip down the Alexandra Park slopes. The fun packed day will also see the return of the hidden woodland Silent Disco, an Outdoor Cinema screening of Austin Powers and Big Fish Little Fish will bring their family raves back for another party.

This year there’s a brand new theatre line up to enjoy. Jackson’s Lane presents Lost in Translation: Cirque Bordello while Wiretapper will be bringing their immersive show ‘Fake Picnic’ to the festival for the first date in a 2 week run. In addition the inclusive theatre company Chickenshed will be performing free shows at the festival.

A fun day out for the whole family, there’s tons of free kid’s activities including circus skills and shows by Dizzy O’Dare, storytelling from the Crick Crack Club and graffiti workshops with Silent Hobo to name but a few.

This year the event will be themed around the Summer of Love. Alexandra Palace placed a key role in the 1967 London Summer of Love when they hosted the 14 Hour Technicolour Dream and the Love In. The festival will celebrate the venue’s unique musical heritage with activities taking on a 60s theme throughout the day.

Entry is free with some ticketed activities. Festival goers are advised to book early as tickets will sell quickly. Check out the website for more info.
