Join this unique class and be guided through a sequence of yoga postures that explore specific architectural features of the museum.
The very design of an environment can inspire us to be greater: to invent, to learn more, to love more. In this fifty minute yoga session participants will be guided through a sequence of yoga postures that explore specific architectural features of the Design Museum and their impact on our wellbeing.
Participants will examine the story of the building’s construction, drawing on archival imagery and audio-visual material. Taking the body as a starting point, the session shall explore how yoga can help us to understand the spaces we inhabit, harnessing this as a tool for positive change.
Yoga mats will be provided, however participants can also bring their own if preferred.
