Barclaycard presents British Summer Time Hyde Park (BST Hyde Park) is a music festival held over two weekends once a year in Londons Hyde Park. It was the first event AEG Live held in Hyde Park since they acquired the rights to host concerts there, and features a wide range of musical genres.
Since 2013, BST Hyde Park has seen headliners such as The Rolling Stones, Bon Jovi, Lionel Richie, Black Sabbath, Neil Young, The Libertines, Arcade Fire, The Who, Blur, The Strokes and Taylor Swift.
In 2016, headliners will include Florence and the Machine, Kendrick Lamar, Carole King, Take That, Mumford and Sons and Stevie Wonder.
If you're going down to one of the shows, make sure to visit some of street food market places and if you fancy an extra-special weekday lunch or after-work bite to eat, the site is FREE to enter from Monday 4th and Thursday 7th, for the Open House summer activities.
For the carnivores, there’s eight different burger stalls to choose from. That's right. EIGHT. But herbivores, you're also covered as over half of the traders will have a vegetarian option and a quarter of them will have a vegan option. What’s more, four of the street food stalls on offer were selected in Time Out’s Top 50 London's Best Street Food.
