Brooklyn Brewery’s five-city European tour kicks off in London with a free gig featuring Primitive Weapons, Winnebago Deal and Henry Blacker
London, March 2017 – Hot off the back of last year’s inaugural Brooklyn Sound tour in Europe, Brooklyn Brewery is kicking off its second annual music event this month, at renowned rock venue The Black Heart in Camden, London.
The first gig of five will take place on Monday, 27th March 2017, showcasing Brooklyn-based band, Primitive Weapons, alongside UK talent Winnebago Deal, a duo mixing up hard rock sensibility with high-energy punk and Henry Blacker, a gritty three-piece band with an unrepentant rockist streak.
Travelling to five international cities in six days (27th March-1st April), the tour will see Primitive Weapons tearing it up with local bands at each stop, delivering a host of shows packed with thundering hardcore. Hitting London, Oslo, Lillestrøm, Hellsinki, and Hamburg in quick succession – Brooklyn Sound will bring together culture, music and beer in the form of five head-bangingly awesome free shows.
Brooklyn Sound is one of the many ways in which Brooklyn Brewery builds bridges between its home city and others that it’s a part of. A proud supporter of the arts, music and creative communities since its founding in 1988, the Brooklyn Brewery team launched the tour to plug into influential and emerging music scenes around the world and seek out creative people with the same passions for rocking out and enjoying a good beer.
