Junkyard Golf Club London officially reopened on Thursday 2nd March 2017 following a serious face-lift at the Old Truman Brewery, Brick Lane. Fresh courses are now available, all designed to a whole new level for maximum crazy golf trickery and enjoyment. Add to this upgraded bars, perfect for pre, mid and post-game drinks, cocktails, fairground style snacks and the ever-popular Junkyard Golf Club London is ready to be rediscovered.
Junkyard Golf Club London may have landed a little less than a year ago but its impact on the city has been huge. The party person’s must-do has welcomed over 200,000 players through the doors, clocking up nearly 250,000 games of twisted, pun-packed crazy golf between them. Celebrity spots at the venue have included Jonathan Ross, Tom Hardy, members of Little Mix and Bastille, Jack Garratt, Gossip Girl's Ed Westwick and more – further evidence that this is the place to be. Not to mention the many many party cocktails and hotdogs consumed at Junkyard’s home of The Old Truman Brewery, Brick Lane.
Now Junkyard Golf Club is ready to cut loose once again and eager putters can try their luck on three new courses:
Pablo transports players from a treehouse, past a deep-cave-bear-wrestling-cage via a Rihanna themed forest, obviously. Not to mention a stopover at Rio-On-Sea.
Bozo is not for the fainthearted given its circus freak inhabitants. Winner takes all in Junkyard’s dark homage to all things carnival. A Ferris wheel, hall of mirrors and some damn scary clowns - time to run away from the circus.
Gary is firmly implanted in Junkyard’s roots, a good old-fashioned scrapyard challenge. Tyre loop-the loops, a salvaged slide, Gary’s UV garage rave and more.
These new kids on the block join the previously installed Blockbuster-themed forth course, Bruce. Nine holes of Oscar-winning proportions skew the plots of legendary movies, move through prison cells, crocodile infested territories and Mount Mordor on a quest for glory.
Yet further upgrades are to be found in Junkyard Golf Club’s six bar areas. Two ‘bunker’ bars, plus four perfectly placed course-side for mid-game refueling, offer up a full selection of drinks, slushies and party cocktails served in big red house-party style cups. The food offering has been given a fairground spin with salted caramel popcorn and pick n’ mix now available alongside hotdogs and nachos.
