Inspired by the vibrant colours, culture and magnificent plant life of India, this year’s festival in the Princess of Wales Conservatory features giant floral displays created using exotic orchids, decorative rickshaws, Indian soundscapes, films and much more.
Entry to the festival is included with day admission. Friends of Kew enter free.
Learn about the many beautiful orchid species growing across India. The festival will celebrate how plants are used in India and Indian culture in worship, medicine, and everyday life.
Look out for elephants and peacocks created from exotic foliage and tropical plants, Vanda orchids hanging delicately from the ceiling surround a beautiful traditional Indian marriage swing and a giant floral pond display marrying together tradition and modern culture.
