Based on Roald Dahl's much-loved children's book, 'Matilda the Musical' burst onto the West End stage in 2011. The show picked up a record breaking 7 Laurence Olivier Awards in 2012, and the Broadway production took home 4 Tony Awards. Matilda is the tale of a small girl with a big imagination who soon learns she has very special magical powers. Whilst Matilda's parents think she's a waste of space, she survives by being 'a little bit naughty'. Life isn't much better at school, where monstrous headmistress Miss Trunchbull conducts an incessant reign of terror until one day the kids, including Matilda, choose to fight back...
Wednesdays and Saturdays are the perfect opportunity to get out there and see some of Londons Theatre.
