Inspired by the original Alsatian brasseries of Paris, Bellanger is a relaxed, all-day, traditional French restaurant on Islington Green. Brought to you from the team behind The Wolseley and Brasserie Zédel. The Bellanger is open seven days a week, mid-morning until late, whether for a simple cup of coffee with cake to a 'grand repas'.

For Breakfast, you can enjoy all manner of egg dishes, home-made mueslis and granolas, aswell as viennoiserie from our master tourier.

Over Lunch and Dinner the menu not only features typical dishes such as choucroute, baeckeoffe and a range of tartes flambées, but a variety of soups, salads, seafood and a number of sharing dishes. To follow, a wide selection of gateaux, tartes and, of course, ice cream coupes. Also on offer a list of principally French-based wines and traditional dark and blonde Alsace-Lorraine beers on tap.

It is recommended reserving your table in advance but a certain number of tables are always available for 'walk-ins' on the day.

If you’re not in the mood for a meal, throughout the day until late at night, Bellanger is always open for a large selection of pâtisseries, gateaux, mignardises and biscuits, accompanied by a variety of coffees, teas and drinks. Reservations are not required; just drop in.
