Trafalgar Day is the celebration of the victory won by the Royal Navy, commanded by Vice-Admiral Horatio Nelson, over the combined French and Spanish fleets at the Battle of Trafalgar on 21 October 1805. Today marks the 210 year anniversary so why not celebrate at the Trafalgar Tavern in Greenwich. You can try a variety of twists on traditional English dishes in the beautiful riverside restaurant. You can also enjoy views of the river in the Duncan Bar with bar food menu and a changing selection of local brewed ales.
