Divine Chocolate, the Fairtrade and farmer owned chocolate company, invites you to celebrate the start of Advent with a festive pop up on Wednesday 30th November at Potter’s Field Park by London’s iconic Tower Bridge.

Head to Potter’s Field Park throughout the day and get in the Christmas spirit by stepping into a giant Divine Chocolate Advent calendar window, for a festive photo opportunity in front of one of London’s most famous sights. Those who share a photo on social media using #DivineAdvent will be entered into a draw to win a fantastic hamper of Divine Chocolate in time for Christmas too!

Visitors will also be able to sample some of Divine’s delicious chocolate and make a last minute purchase of a Divine Chocolate Fairtrade Advent Calendars ahead of 1st December.

This year’s Divine Chocolate Advent calendar depicts the Nativity scene inside a snow globe with a beautiful illustration by Stephen Waterhouse, his ninth calendar with Divine. Open the windows to reveal the traditional Christmas story retold day by day, and a seriously smooth milk chocolate heart made with Fairtrade ingredients.

New for this year you’ll find ‘Merry Christmas’ in 24 different languages from around the world behind each window, from countries where Divine Chocolate is sold, made or sources its Fairtrade ingredients, including Ghana where the cocoa beans are grown with pride by the farmers of Kuapa Kokoo, a co-operative of 85,000 farmers who own 44% of the Divine company.

iVisit.... The Easter Saturday Chocolate Market

The Duke of York Square’s celebrated chocolate market is back just in time for Easter, which is the perfect excuse to indulge in some sweet treats! Did you know that it’s overseen by the statue of Sir Hans Sloane, the original inventor of chocolate?

Whether you’re a chocoholic or after something special to share with family and friends, there will be treats galore for everyone to enjoy on Easter Saturday, 26th March. Find all of your favourite brands and discover independent artisans with a delicious selection.

After some Easter gift inspiration? Among the chocolatiers this year will be:

Hans Sloane:  Sir Hans Sloane, adventurer and chocolate pioneer, returned from Jamaica in the late 17th century introducing milk chocolate to Europe. The award-winning London chocolatier that bears his name will be featuring a selection of delicacies, including their handmade Easter Egg which forms the basis of a rich chocolate drink.

Diana David: Diana’s delicious speciality confections include roasted almond roses and cranberry and orange slabs, all presented in beautiful packaging so they look as delightful as they taste.

Simply Hand Made Chocolate: Also making an appearance this year is Resident Chocolatier at the market, Alistair Croll, Founder of Simply Hand Made Chocolates, with his exquisite handcrafted artisan chocolates and macaroons.

The chocolate market will be running alongside the Square’s regular Fine Food Market between 10am and 4pm.
