The City of London Distillery brought Gin distilling back to the City in 2012 after an absence of nearly 200 years.

Their first gin, loyal to their roots, was a classic London Dry Gin – followed soon after by their celebration of the City of London – Square Mile gin. Since then they’ve added a very popular Sloe gin, an Old Tom gin, and the Christopher Wren gin to their range.

Guests learn about distilling gin, the different botanicals and have the opportunity to design their own recipe and distil their very own personalised bottle of gin (70 cl) which they can take home. 

City of London Tour with optional Tasting £15 or £25

Visitors take a guided tour of the distillery to discover the history of gin in London and learn about our gin making techniques. The tour can be followed by a three-flight gin tasting. 

And after all that education, guests can relax in the Distillery’s speakeasy-style bar to sip gin cocktails overlooking the impressive copper stills.
