Film4 Summer Screen at Somerset House returns bringing the best of cinema to one of the most spectacular settings in London.

As part of the free summer exhibition The Learned Society of Extra Ordinary Objects, opening this week, Somerset House will be putting on a series of late night events offering free drinks from a pop-up Sipsmith Gin Bar plus temporary tattoos and live music.
Multi-sensory exhibition featuring ten extraordinary perfumes and their pioneering creators, who have radically changed our perceptions of fragrance over the last 20 years.
This year Somerset House presents an all-new line-up of Club Nights, with DJs from internationally renowned festivals, clubs, record labels and radio stations taking to the rink-side booth.
The ice-rink will be transformed into a dance-floor with sounds from the likes of Green Man Festival; London crazy golf venue, Swingers; Ministry of Sound’s 25th Birthday Party, and a special night in tribute to DJ Derek.
Post-skate, sip on a cocktail at the glamorous bar in Fortnum’s Lodge or relax with a mulled wine in the Skate Lounge and hear live sets whilst keeping warm inside.

Skate at Somerset House with Fortnum & Mason returns with a host of activities on and off the ice.
By day, the stunning Edmond J. Safra Fountain courtyard is the perfect setting to skate with family and friends. Take to the ice after dark at the exclusive Club Nights with music from top international DJs. For a second year they have partnered with EFG London Jazz Festival to present a special one-off Jazz Skate. Everyone can hone their skills at Skate School and young skaters can find their feet on the ice at Polar Cub Club.
Soak up the atmosphere at the cosy Alpine-themed Fortnum’s Lodge and indulge in one of the Skate Extras – including Champagne & Chocolate Truffles, Wine & Fondue for Two, Champagne & Smoked Salmon Blinis or Fortnum’s signature Chocolossus Hot Chocolate. Relax rinkside, après-skate and watch the action with a drink at the Skate Lounge.
The West Wing will once again be transformed into Fortnum’s Christmas Arcade – a one-stop shopping destination open daily throughout the season until 1 January.
